Encrypted private library Free
Every private photo and video is encrypted with AES-256-GCM on your device. The key comes from your passphrase, stretched with Argon2id, and is never stored anywhere in readable form.
Alternate library Free
A second library with its own passphrase and its own key, which looks exactly like the first. The key file has the same size whatever you set up.
Face ID and Touch ID Free
Optional for each library. The key is wrapped by the Secure Enclave of this device only, and turns itself off if Face ID or Touch ID enrolment changes.
Recovery key Free
A printable recovery key that can open your library if you forget the passphrase. Nobody else has a copy, including me.
Privacy shield Free
Locks when you leave the app, covers itself before the app-switcher snapshot, and hides private content during screen recording, AirPlay or mirroring.
Private camera Free
Take photos and videos straight into the private library, so they never touch the Photos app or its iCloud sync.
Safe import Free
Pick items with the system photo picker. Each one is encrypted, read back and verified before VEIL offers to delete the original, and iOS asks you before anything is deleted.
