About

Hi, I'm Nick.

I'm Nicholas Xerri, an independent developer in Malta. I build apps that assume someone will try to get in, and make sure they can't.

Most private photo apps make money from ads, subscriptions or your data, and research keeps finding vaults that don’t actually encrypt. VEIL is my answer: real encryption on your device, honest about its limits, and paid for once.

Your photos are none of my business. No account, no analytics, nothing sent home.

The eight-pointed cross next to my name is the Maltese cross. The tagline, Built like a bastion, is a nod to Valletta’s walls.

My other apps are at nicholasxerri.com. Questions about VEIL: support@veilapp.eu.
